Manage visibility, permissions and personal-data requests for My Digital Magnets.

We do not sell personal data or use it for cross-app advertising. This website does not implement optional advertising or analytics cookies, and does not show a fake cookie acceptance banner.

1. Public-fridge visibility

In My Digital Magnets, open Settings and change public-fridge visibility. Fridges are private by default and become public only when enabled. Public sharing may expose your display name, username, profile image, collection, acquisition dates and fridge arrangement. Anyone with a shareable link may be able to view the shared information.

2. Notification categories

Open My Digital Magnets Settings and change notification categories for gifts, travel-window reminders, collections, wishlists, social activity and digest notifications. Preferences are stored locally and with your account.

To disable notifications or change alerts, sounds and badges, open iPhone Settings > Notifications > My Digital Magnets.

3. Location permissions

Open iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > My Digital Magnets. Choose Never to disable access or adjust While Using the App and Precise Location permissions.

Location is requested only when you initiate a location or check-in action. Disabling it may prevent check-in verification and destination unlocks. The app does not request background location or continuously track you. Changing permission does not itself erase earlier check-in or travel-window records.

4. Photos and selected images

The app uses Apple’s system PhotosPicker for profile images and designer artwork. You choose the specific items to share. It does not request unrestricted photo-library or camera access.

If iOS shows a Photos permission for My Digital Magnets, you can change it in iPhone Settings > Apps > My Digital Magnets > Photos, or Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos. PhotosPicker may not show a broad Photos permission because access is limited to selected items. You can decline or cancel selection without granting unrestricted access.

Changing a device permission does not delete an image already uploaded. Edit your profile to replace an image, or request deletion through privacy@mydigitalmagnets.com.

5. Edit your profile

Open your profile in My Digital Magnets and use the profile editing controls to update information such as your display name, username, biography or selected profile image. Review public-fridge visibility separately in Settings.

6. Delete your account

In My Digital Magnets, open Settings > Delete account and local data. Read and complete the confirmation steps. Deleting the app alone does not delete your account.

Full instructions and information about retained records are at https://mydigitalmagnets.com/account-deletion. If you cannot access the app, email privacy@mydigitalmagnets.com.

7. Request your personal data or exercise your rights

Email privacy@mydigitalmagnets.com to request access, correction, portability, restriction, objection, or deletion, as applicable under the law. Include the request type and the email or Apple private relay address linked to your account. We may verify identity before completing a request. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or sensitive identity documents in your initial email.

You may withdraw consent and complain to your local data-protection authority, including Portugal’s Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

8. Cookie choices

No optional cookie controls are needed for the current website because it does not implement optional cookies. You can inspect, block or remove cookies in your browser settings. If non-essential cookies are introduced, policies and applicable consent controls will be updated before activation.
